VINTAGE FIRST EDITION REFLECTIONS MODERNIST MENORAH BY EMIL SHENFELD

The first edition of the Reflections Menorah by noted Israeli metalsmith and silversmith Emil Shenfeld (b. 1952 Brazil). Trained as an industrial engineer, upon emigrating to Israel he studied Art and Design. The menorah though simple in design has an infinite number of ways to display it. It is made of 4 concentric anodized aluminum rings the largest being 9 1/2" in diameter. Each ring holds two polished brass candleholders. In the center is the shamash candle holder on an anodized aluminum base. Overall condition is good. A few minor dings to the aluminum bases. Spots of discoloration on the brass candleholder shafts. Some of the candleholder shafts are loose and wobble a bit. Engraved on the bottom of the largest ring: SHENFELD Israel For Jan and Edgar the artist's first Reflections Menorah with love, Andy and Charles Sept. 2 1993.
