This is a rare single page advertising handbill (flyer) promoting ticket sales for the Pre-Broadway engagement of the
JERRY HERMAN, JEROME LAWRENCE and ROBERT E. LEE musical "DEAR WORLD" at the Colonial Theatre in Boston, Massachusetts beginning November 11th, 1968. (The production would open February 6th, 1969 at the Mark Hellinger Theatre in New York City and run for only 132 performances.) ..... The musical starred ANGELA LANSBURY and featured JANE CONNELL, CARMEN MATHEWS, MICHAEL KERMOYAN, KURT PETERSON, PAMELA HALL, MICHAEL DAVIS, GENE VARRONE, CHARLES WELCH, ZALE KESSLER, PETER WALKER, MIGUEL GODREAU, JOE MASIELL, TED AGRESS, TY McCONNELL and MILO O'SHEA ..... CONDITION: This rare flyer is in excellent condition and will make a wonderful addition to the collection of any musical theatre aficionado or historian. This item will be carefully packaged in a protective, carded sleeve and backed by stiff cardboard.
