    This is a rare oversized advertising folder (poster) promoting the opening of Original London production of the Pulitzer Prize winning JONATHAN LARSON musical "RENT" at the Shaftesbury Theatre in London. (The Broadway production opened April 29th, 1996 at the Nederlander Theatre and closed September 7th, 2008 after 5123 performances. The London production began previews on April 21st, 1998, opening officially on May 12th, 1998 and ran for 18 months.) ..... The eight panel folder when opened measures 38" inches in length and 12 3/8" inches in width. The inside four panels feature photos of the Original Broadway Cast (including IDINA MENZEL) but the only members of the Original Broadway production to recreate their roles in London were ADAM PASCAL, ANTHONY RAPP, WILSON JERMAINE HEREDIA and JESSE L. MARTIN ..... CONDITION: With the exception of minor creasing at the corners, this rare folder is in excellent condition and will make a wonderful addition to the collection of any musical theatre aficionado or "Rent-Head". This item will be carefully packaged in a protective sleeve and backed by stiff cardboard.
